Bebe Stores Inc. has added Perry M. Mandarino to the company’s board of directors, effective April 22.
Mandarino enters as Kenneth M. Young, who has served as a director on the company's board since 2018, resigned on April 22, in order to focus on other endeavors, the company said.
The newest member of the board currently serves as senior managing director, co-head of investment banking and head of corporate restructuring at B. Riley FBR, Inc., a capital market company. According to Bebe, Mandarino has advised over 400 companies over the course of his career as a financial advisor and has significant experience helping retail and consumer companies navigate complex debt and equity transactions and in developing strategic solutions in support of companies’ business transformation initiatives.
“[Mandarino] brings deep knowledge of our industry and has served as a trusted advisor to us throughout the successful completion of our business transformation," said Manny Mashouf, founder and chief executive officer of Bebe. "We look forward to his future contributions as we continue to focus on executing on our core strategy.”
A noted member of his industry, Mandarino regularly appears on CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg TV, and has been featured on media platforms and publications like The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, among others.
