The Denver Broncos emerged victorious at the end of Super Bowl 50 Sunday evening. While sports fans are overjoyed for Peyton Manning’s second NFL Championship and are perplexed by Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers’ performance, fashion lovers recall the ensemble of the Halftime Show performers especially Beyoncé’s outfit.

The international pop star wore an ensemble that paid homage to the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther party and Michael Jackson’s outfit from his 1993 Halftime performance. DSquared2 designed the custom leather jacket with gold military details like bullets on the sleeves and crisscrossing gold embellishments.
According to the American media, the twin designers said about the outfit, "We love Beyoncé and wanted to create something where she resembles a warrior leading her female posse who fall into formation." Dean and Dan Caten have provided outfits for the entertainer in the past for her Mrs. Carter world tour.
Beyoncé performed her new song ‘Formation,’ which debuted with a music video Saturday afternoon, and she danced alongside an all-black group of dancers also as a nod to the Black Panther party. The dancers wore custom leather outfits by New York City-based designer Zana Bayne.
Bruno Mars, who also performed at the Halftime Show with lead act Coldplay, wore a custom leather outfit from Versace and Lady Gaga, who performed the National Anthem at the beginning of the game, wore a red suit from Gucci.
After the performance, a commercial aired announcing Beyoncé’s Formation tour and tickets will go on sale starting February 16. The Formation World Tour will begin in Miami on April 27.
