Brit supermodel Kate Moss stars in new Coach campaign

Published
Nov 5, 2019

Selena Gomez may be the star of most Coach campaigns, but for the holiday season, British supermodel Kate Moss is taking over. She’s the focal point of a print campaign that comes with a new heritage product collection and also a host of other stars who put the focus on festive revelry.

Kate Moss stars for Coach this Christmas

Other big names in the line-up include actress Yara Shahidi, rapper Megan Thee Stallion (in her first-ever fashion campaign), Spike and Tonya Lee, model Fernanda Ly, actor Miles Heizer and what we’re told is “an unexpected feathered friend”.

Spike and Tonya Lee have big roles in the campaign’s video series, called Wonder For All. Written and directed by Bunny Kinney, the short films feature the Lee duo plus actress Camila Morrone, Bob the Drag Queen (winner of Season 8 of Ru Paul's Drag Race), and writer, actor and producer Ben Sinclair. They help to “celebrate the magic and spontaneous fun of being together during the most festive time of year”.

Back with Moss and her co-stars, the print imagery was shot by Juergen Teller, who photographed his very first Coach campaign for the AW19 season. The stars are all gathering at an impromptu party at a New York brownstone with the mood being “irreverent”, “inclusive” and focusing on the “authentic spirit of New York,” we’re told.

And the new products? Well, after the brand’s Halloween parade through central London last week, it’s no surprise that the focus is on the Coach heritage motif. Called the Horse and Carriage collection, it includes a new version of the Kat Saddle Bag, and a reimagined brand horse and carriage motif “as a cool, colourful pattern on bags and ready-to-wear”.
