Buscemi opens first ever retail location in NYC

Footwear brand Buscemi took the leap into retail with the opening of its first store in New York City. The brand kicked off NYFW with the opening of its first-ever store at 47 Wooster Street in SoHo.

 
The Buscemi Gallery features wooden floors, luxurious leather furniture and white wall shelving units with gold details. The flagship store also features an intricately design carpet and gold and white pyramids throughout. In store, customers will find the full Buscemi footwear and leather goods lines for men, women and children.
 
Buscemi, the namesake footwear label from Jon Buscemi, launched in 2013 after he co-founded footwear brands Gourmet and Greats. The former Wall Street businessman got into the fashion industry through DC Shoes where he worked on special projects. He parted ways to serve as Creative Director of Lotto USA and then Brand Director of Oliver Peoples.

The luxury footwear label quickly became a favorite among athletes, actors, rappers and other celebrities as well as sneaker connoisseurs. Buscemi is currently stocked at Barneys New York and Kith among other retailers.
