Byrdie's newly hatched U.K. website

Byrdie, a beauty-based platform and e-commerce website, has launched its new British-based website with content specifically designed for the U.K. audience. Byrdie.co.uk went live with 75% of its content newly hatched and focused on local influencers, celebrity trends and how-to videos. Amy Lawrenson, known for her work with Women’s Health and Elle, helms the London-based team.

The U.K.-based site is part of Byrdie’s growing international presence. Last month, Byrdie launched all three of its editorial satellites in Australia, and plans to expand to France in 2016. The company has also hinted at an upcoming line of Byrdie beauty products.

Launched in 2013 by Power and Hillary Kerr, Byrdie falls under the Clique Media Group Umbrella. The beauty company is a web platform and e-commerce site where beauty products can be purchased. Clique Media Group reports 33 million monthly unique visitors across its platforms, which also include Whowhatwear.com and Mydomaine.com.
