COS opens first store in Atlanta

COS has officially opened the doors to its first store in Atlanta at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, 3035 Peachtree Road NE. The new store is the 8th COS retail location to open in the US.

The 3,595-square-foot location houses the brand’s Spring 2016 men’s, women’s and children’s apparel collections, which consist of deconstructed classics that are designed with intricate techniques like draping and origami folds.

The store interior stays true to the brand’s modern, timeless and functional aesthetic with glass, concrete and wood materials in neutral tones that are set against raw steel hanging rails.

Marie Honda, Managing Director for COS says, “Since entering the US market in 2014, we have been fortunate that the brand has received such a positive response. We hope that our customers in Atlanta continue to enjoy our collections and are pleased with the new setting in which to explore it.”

The Atlanta store joins seven other US retail locations at Fifth Avenue and Spring Street in SoHo in New York; South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa; Beverly Centre and North Beverly Drive in Los Angeles; River Oaks District in Houston and Newbury Street in Boston. The brand announced previously the opening of additional locations in New York at Westfield World Trade Center and Greenwich in 2016.
