Cadillac Fairview expands WE partnership

Cadillac Fairview is celebrating its first year partnership anniversary with WE, a social enterprise that provides products that make an impact, with the opening of a second store location.
 
The partnership, launched last July, included the first WE retail store which opened at CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

 
The new 2,000-square-foot store location opened at CF Rideau Centre in Ottawa on Saturday, June 24. The pop-up location is planned to be in operation until January 2018.
 
As part of the philanthropic partnership between CF and WE, leasing for both locations were donated in-kind by CF.

"The first year of our multi-year partnership with WE has featured many important milestones and allowed CF to empower young leaders and develop meaningful relationships within the community, in particular connecting with youth through in-property events and local WE Schools programming," said Jason Anderson, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Cadillac Fairview, in a news statement. "The addition of a second WE store in the nation's capital ahead of Canada's sesquicentennial anniversary extends engagement opportunities to local youth and residents, as well as the millions of visitors and tourists expected this year. Together we can enable more people to take action and support important causes locally and globally."
 
The new WE store features interactive activities including a bead your own Rafiki bar where people can customize their own bracelets, as well as a WE Selfie Zone where selfie-snappers can share their wishes for the future of Canada through collaborative video screens.
