Since April 2018, Mues has been in charge of Reich Online Service GmbH, a subsidiary of the Calida Group specialised in e-commerce, which the group bought in 2017. Besides this role, Mues is now tasked with “the development and deployment of the group’s digital capabilities,” said the Calida Group in a press release.

“By appointing Stefan Mues, we were able to fill in a future-oriented position with a highly skilled manager. Stefan Mues is an industry professional with several years’ experience in e-commerce, and he will therefore be able to lead our transformation in a targeted fashion,” said Reiner Pichler, CEO of the group which has owned 87% of Lafuma since June 2018, and also owns Aubade, Millet, Eider and Oxbow.

The Calida Group is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. Its consolidated revenue grew by 10.7% in the first half of 2018. In the period, the group generated a revenue in excess of CHF194.3 million (€167 million), notably due to the positive performance of lingerie label Calida, and especially thanks to strong e-tail results. E-tail sales in the first six months of the year increased by 60.1%, and accounted for 10.2% of the group’s total sales. As the Calida Group published its H1 results, it indicated that more investment in e-commerce will be carried out in the second part of the year.
