Canada Goose has produced a documentary in partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI) in the brand's latest effort to show its support for environmental activism and animal conservation.

For seven days, a documentary film crew shadowed the scientists of Polar Bears International (PBI) as they researched—and lived alongside—the polar bears of Churchill, Manitoba.

Entitled 'Bare Existence,' the documentary follows PBI scientist Dr. Steven Amstrup and other members of the PBI team as they work to protect the habitat of wild polar bears in the region, which is the polar bear capital of the world.

The public boost to Canada Goose's partnership with PBI, which has been in place for over a decade, comes as it continues to face public backlash from animal rights advocates due to the brand's continued use of real fur, down feathers and wool in its clothing.

Several contemporary brands--including Karl Lagerfeld and Prada-- have announced their decision to go fur-free in the past year.

In the past month, Canada Goose has provided further support to PBI with the launch of both a collaborative collection and collectible toy. Canada Goose plans to donate a portion of the proceed from both collaborations to PBI.
