Oct 31, 2021
Canadian outerwear company Canada Goose announced on Friday the opening of a new store on the West Coast at South Coast Plaza, in California, welcoming the brand's next generation award-winning Cold Room in the United States for the first time.

Dubbed the 'Snow Room', the innovative retail experience simulates a daily snowstorm with temperatures reaching as low as -10°F allowing customers to put Canada Goose products to the ultimate test in functionality.
Meanwhile, customers can shop the latest line of lightweight down jackets, puffers and vests, called the Cypress and Crofton collections, which are made with the brand's Recycled Feather-Light Ripstop Fabric, as well as items from The HyBridge collection, alongside the brand's highly sought-after collaborations and special collections, including Canada Goose's collection with Polar Bears International (PBI).
The line-up of jackets can be found alongside the brand's selection of knit sweaters, hoodies and zip-ups, made with Merino Wool and Organic Cotton. Next, on November 12, the location will welcome Canada Goose's brand new footwear collection including two styles: the Snow Mantra Boots and Journey Boots.
Finally, the store design was complemented by pieces from the Northern Art Program, which celebrates Northern Canadian artists. For this location, the brand partnered with artist, Winnie Truong, while additional illustrations and sculptures by Inuit artisans are showcased throughout the store.
Canada Goose currently operates over 25 stores around the world. Most recently, in June, Canada Goose announced its commitment to end the use of all fur, a decision driven by Humanature, a platform that unites its sustainability and values-based initiatives.
