Canada Goose launches capsule with Feng Chen Wang and Xu Zhen

Canada Goose is set to launch on Thursday a new lifestyle collection created in collaboration with London-based designer Feng Chen Wang and contemporary artist Xu Zhen. 

Dubbed 'The Canada Goose x Feng Chen Wang x Xu Zhen Collection', the 12-piece lifestyle line features jackets, knitwear, accessories, and pants, and marks the first collaborative collection to feature footwear and skirts. 

The collection blends Canada Goose’s signature performance luxury apparel with the future-modern aesthetic of Feng Chen Wang and the multidimensional patterns of Xu Zhen. Items also come in a variety of colorways including warm neutrals, bright pink and yellow.

In particular, the collection includes the women’s Sence Blazer, which is made with Recycled Dura-Force and can be worn as a blazer or a vest and includes the option of a removable belt with a detachable pouch. 

Likewise, the Roebuck Parka is made with Recycled Organic Arctic Tech and is equally designed to be worn either as a parka or a vest. Other outerwear styles include the Langham Down Jacket, made with Recycled Feather-Light Ripstop, as well as the Mercer Down Jacket, the Carnaby Trench, and the HyBridge Jacket.

In terms of apparel, the collection also features the Seaton Sweater, a corset style sweater with a cropped silhouette; the Bedford Skirt, made of denim; and the Canal Pants, made of soft, brushed cotton fabric in a classic jogger silhouette. 

Rounding-out the collection is footwear including a spin on the Journey Boots reimagined by Feng Chen Wang with denim and contrasting color on the hardware, as well as accessories with the Arctic Cashmere Toque.

The collection launches with a campaign shot in Toronto, Canada, by William Ukoh and styled by Anders Søelvsten Thomsen, that showcases the hero looks in an environment inspired by Xu Zhen’s Under Heaven artwork series. 

It is available starting Thursday at select Canada Goose retail stores across Asia, at select wholesale partners globally and online at fengchenwang.com and canadagoose.com.
