Carolina Herrera to launch capsule collection with Mytheresa

Carolina Herrera continues to design sophisticated yet fresh collections after over 30 years, and her newest limited edition capsule collection won’t disappoint. The collection, inspired by Herrera’s first runway show in 1981, will debut on Mytheresa.com on May 10.

 
The capsule will include an asymmetric gold lame gown, an ensemble featuring a maroon velvet military-inspired jacket with matching skirt and onyx and ruby jewelry. Prices range from $250USD for jewelry to $3700USD for a gown.
 
Accompanying the launch of Herrera’s collection will be “Something Unpredictable,” a short mockumentary by Danny Sangra of a fashion film that was shot at the Elyx House in the Hollywood Hills starring Kat Clements.

Carolina Herrera, born in Caracas, Venezuela, presented her first self-named capsule collection in 1981 with the encouragement of Diana Vreeland, legendary Vogue Editor-in-Chief. She is known for her sophisticated designs and influence on fashion.
