Spanish footwear brand Castañer increased its sales by 25% in 2022 to 24 million euros. The wholesale channel, which increased the company's turnover by 41%, was the main growth driver.

The brand increased its online sales by 22% in the last fiscal year. "The omni-channel strategy implemented by Castañer last year, focused on improving its CRM, has led the company to increase its sales through this channel," the brand explained. "This transformation of the business model has allowed the company to carry out bidirectional actions with customers, thus improving customer interaction," they added.

Castañer grew both in Spain, where it increased its turnover by 34%, and internationally, where it registered a 20% growth "thanks to the company's expansion strategy implemented in recent years," they said.

Founded in 1925, Castañer closed the year with "a favorable evolution that allows us to move forward with our strategic plan for the coming years," said the company, which has thus completed the first stage of its 2023-2025 strategic plan.

The company's projects for this year include the opening of a new store in Barcelona, which will join the dozen boutiques it operates in Spain and those in cities such as Paris and Miami and countries such as Chile, the Dominican Republic and Colombia.
