Celebrity designer Nikki Lund launches collection

Designer Nikki Lund, known for creating custom pieces for celebrities and performers, has launched a new 10 piece modern essentials collection.

The collection, called "Nikki Lund 10 Essential Pieces" is designed to be an easy system of dressing using basics that have been upgraded with embellishments and other rock chic details. The capsule collection includes skinny jeans, tees, a long sleeve blouse, a sweater, a denim blazer, an oversize hoody and a little black dress.

Price points range from $70 to $225 for the embellished denim jacket.

The collection is aptly named, with pieces being essential wardrobe staples designed with Lund's signature rock chic edge.

Lund said of her collection, "It's the perfect packable weekend collection that creates a cohesive wardrobe, condensing the amount of clothing people feel they need in their closet."

Lund is known for designing custom performance costumes and fashion for celebrities including Madonna, Britney Spears, Jon Bon Jovi and Miley Cyrus.

She partnered with Celebrity Lifestyle Brands who recently acquired her namesake Nikki Lund brand to launch this collection. The spring/summer debut namesake collection is available now online through her ecommerce site.

A second installment of Lund's designs called "Destiny" will launch for fall. Destiny will feature both more essentials as well as statement pieces.
