Cherry opens first retail space on Melrose Avenue
Los Angeles-based clothing brand Cherry opened on Saturday its first retail space on Melrose Avenue.
Dubbed the 'Cherry General Store', the retail space highlight’s the brand’s nostalgic American influences with elements such as a hanging canoe installation, a hand-built Douglas fir seating, and a dressing room lined with a pinewood log stack and Navajo rugs. Likewise, to bring the brand’s rustic aesthetic to life it features hand-painted storefront signs and woodwork finishing.
Currently, customers can shop Cherry’s new Joyride collection, accessories, an array of vintage items, and special L.A. exclusives.
The streetwear line founded by Joseph Perez and David Levy launched in 2017 and quickly earned celebrity endorsement status from the likes of Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, and Hailey Bieber.
This is not the brand’s first retail venture. Most recently, in December, the company also opened a Holiday Store in Los Angeles.
