Christian Cowan creates ‘really blue’ jeans collection for Google

To mark the UK launch of Google’s limited edition ‘Really Blue’ Pixel and Pixel XL, the American technology giant has recruited young British fashion designer Christian Cowan to create a collection of jeans in a vibrant blue.

The range includes styles for men and women – all featuring a sole custom-sized pocket for the Google smartphone instead of the usual five. They are embellished with ruffles on the waist and backside as well as glittery stars, and will be only available to custom order on appointment with the designer.

This is not the first time Google has partnered with fashion designers. The company has previously worked with Jeremy Scott on a line of live cases for the new Pixel phone, and with Michael Kors on a smartwatch.

Christian Cowan graduated from the London College of Fashion at the beginning of last year and made his debut at New York Fashion Week earlier this month. His glam rock designs have been worn by celebrities including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Brooke Candy.
