Clarks America on Thursday announced the grand opening of its new headquarters at the historic Polaroid building in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The 120,000-square-foot property on 60 Tower Road is a four-story, single-tenant building that features an expansive roof deck, a 5,000-square-foot private outdoor terrace, employee retail store, employee fitness center, and an employee bike sharing program among others amenities. Clarks developed the property alongside Boston Properties, and the building interior and exterior were designed by Stantec, formerly ADD, Inc, and Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, respectively.

“We couldn’t be more excited to open our new headquarters in Waltham,” added Gary Champion, President of Clarks Americas, Inc. and Massachusetts native. “For over 20 years we have called the Metro Boston area home. This is a vibrant community that offers undeniable talent and resources. Our entire organization has been looking forward to this day, showcasing the very best of this great brand and sharing it with our customers and the surrounding community.”

Champion was appointed President of Clarks Americas in February, and in September the company appointed Mike Shearwood as CEO of Clarks. Shearwood, the former Karen Millen CEO, succeeded Melissa Potter as Clarks CEO after her surprise departure from the company.
