Just months after the launch of their first collaborative collection in November 2018, Uniqlo and Alexander Wang are moving forward with a collaboration focussing on the Japanese giant's breathable fabric: AIRism. The collection designed for both men and women, will go on sale on April 11.

For their first joint collection, Uniqlo and American fashion designer Alexander Wang put the Heattech technology in the spotlight; for this round they are proposing a collection focussing on comfort and style using AIRism, a breathable fabric. The color palette will once again remain neutral, centering around white, black, pastel pink and blue.

This new collection includes clothing and underwear for both men and women crafted with the innovative AIRism textile, which offers a second-skin sensation even in the hottest, most humid weather conditions.

Women can choose from a selection of tank tops, night-dresses, underwear, crop-tops, bras, bodysuits and even shorts in the cycling style. The men's range, meanwhile, features a two-sided fabric; with AIRism for the inside layer and premium cotton for the outside. The men's collection comprises t-shirts, tank tops, boxer shorts and underpants.

"Working with UNIQLO on the second season of the collaboration, it felt like there was a mutual understanding of not only aesthetics but of each other's work ethic. It was easier coming together this time around to accomplish a similar goal. Innovation has always been at the forefront of our design and creative process, and functionality serves a huge purpose in the way I and our customers dress," explained Alexander Wang.

The new Alexander Wang x Uniqlo collection will go on sale April 11 in stores and via www.uniqlo.com.
