The 1,750-square-foot store opened at 819 Queen St. W. in Toronto’s trendy Queen West neighbourhood and houses a sleek and modern store design where customers can shop Consonant’s full range of natural products.

The retail store also doubles as a community hub as part of the company’s ‘Beauty 2.0 experience’ where ongoing complimentary community programming for healthy living and wellness initiatives will be offered weekly by industry experts and leaders.

An event schedule can be found in store where programming on healthy eating and fitness classes can be found, among other initiatives.

Customer service is also an important part of the new retail concept. “Regimen Coaches” have been hired to provide one-on-one time with shoppers to help them discover complimentary skin hydration tests, offered education and sampling.

“Our mission at Consonant is to help our guests achieve their best self through a well-rounded Consonant life,” said Bill Baker, founder of Consonant Skincare, in a news statement.

“Our onsite Regimen Coaches are a great resource to help shoppers make healthier choices, whether it’s related to nutrition, lifestyle, skincare and more. We’re very excited for our guests to enjoy our new space and everything that it has to offer.”

This is Consonant’s third standalone store. The company’s former flagship store opened in 2011 at 2479 Yonge Street in Toronto, while a second location can be found in the city’s financial district.

Consonant is expected to roll out more brick-and-mortar locations, though no official plans have been revealed.

Founded by Bill Baker, Consonant Skincare is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Its products are created and produced in Canada and are known for being 100 percent natural.
