Cos commemorate ten years with birthday collection

Cos is turning ten years old this March 2017. To commemorate the high-end fast fashion retailer's 2007 debut on London's Regent Street, the Swede has released a birthday collection steeped in the brand's signature minimalism.
A ten piece collection, the Cos anniversary capsule carries garments for women, men and children. Each garment’s pattern is created like a "jigsaw with the full width of the fabric used, one shape deciding another, limiting any excess," said the H&M Group-owned brand in a statement.
The collection will be made with light fabrics such as cotton and technical polyester. The colours are pared-back sand and white.
Clothes are cut cleanly with collapsing volumes and rectilinear silhouettes, creating soft
double layered panels across a shirt dress for women, and technical jacket for men, said Cos.
"Japanese influences are apparent in the square cut proportions of a men’s top and a women’s coat featuring kimono style sleeves," the brand added. Meanwhile, the childrenswear features appliqué on a dress and shirt.
The Cos anniversary collection will go sale globally both instore and online from March 24. Cos has stores in the UK, U.S., Australia, Malaysia, Sweden, Spain, Singapore, France, South Korea, Bahrain and the U.A.E, among others.
