Cotton Citizen opens Melrose flagship

LA's Cotton Citizen has opened its first retail location on Melrose Place.

The four year old Los Angeles-based brand is known for selling elevated basics, such as a classic tee for $65. Average price points run about $120, with pieces in the collection ranging up to $350.

The Melrose Place store is a 600 square foot flagship that is currently merchandised with the classic tee in a variety of colors.

“The brand has always been about color,” said founder Adam Vanunu.

The visual merchandising plan for the Melrose store will be to rotate items to highlight the range of dyes used for the line.

“We have a dye house. We want to focus on that. We want to showcase that," said Vanunu of the space design.

Cotton Citizen operates out of LA with a showroom in NY.

The new flagship location is at 8463 Melrose Place, near Alfred Coffee.
