Beauty retailer Credo on Thursday opened its first retail location in New York City on 9 Prince Street in Manhattan. The store marks as Credo’s second store joining a flagship location in San Francisco.
The Nolita store features a hardwood floor and wooden shelving fixtures that display several skincare, body care and cosmetics products from all natural, organic and vegan brands. The store also offers a Clean Beauty Swap service where customers can give in their old beauty products for similar products.
Credo, which is Latin for “I believe”, is a San Francisco-based clean beauty retailer that seeks products from global brands that use safe, sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients. The beauty retailer also believes in transparency and promises to never carry products made with harmful ingredients or animal byproducts.
Some brands that Credo offers on its website include One Love Organics, Red Flower, R.L. Linden & Co, Ilia, S.W. Basics and Juice Beauty.
This week, Credo is hosting several events including a meet-and-greet with Adina from SW Basics, as well as makeovers, manicures, hand massages and mini facials.
