Crocs to relocate corporate HQ in 2020

Published
Feb 5, 2019

US footwear company Crocs, Inc. announced on Tuesday that it will be moving its corporate HQ from Niwot, Colorado to a new 88,000-square-foot location in Broomfield, Colorado in 2020.

The new location is intended to provide space for Crocs' expanding workforce as it executes its long-term strategic growth plan - Instagram: @crocs

The company’s new headquarters will be situated at 13699 Via Varra Road, Broomfield, a more central location with better access to restaurants and shopping facilities, as well as Broomfield’s growing Route 36 corridor, a fact which the company believes will help attract and retain top talent.

The increased office space should also provide sufficient room for Crocs’ expanding workforce as the company continues to execute its long-term growth plan.

Crocs has negotiated an initial ten-month lease for the property with Ektin Johnson Real Estate Partners, with two five-year renewal options, and has contracted Denver-based Venture Architecture to come up with a design for the new workspace.

“Our business is strong and we continue to explore ways to meet the needs of our employees while investing in our future,” said Crocs President and CEO Andrew Rees in a release. “This is an exciting time to be at Crocs, and just like our iconic product, this best-in-class new headquarters will help our employees be comfortable in their own shoes.”

Crocs recently reported that Q4 2018 had been its “best fourth quarters in years” and upped its revenue guidance for the period to between $211 and $214 million. The company also increased its full-year 2018 revenue outlook and is now expecting to see a 6% increase from the $1.02 billion reported in 2017.
