A panel of industry professionals including WFG Canada Head of Marketing Taylor Stavenjord, Toronto Fashion Incubator's executive director Susan Langdon, Canadian Fashion designer David Dixon, and Vincent Law of Vogue Talents and Vogue Italia selected Oland as the winner.

“It was a very fast, exciting, and creative experience that has left me feeling grateful, inspired, and very proud to now call myself a Canadian designer,” Oland wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

On Saturday, he presented 10 different runway looks as part of his "Oyama Lake" collection. The menswear collection consisted of items such as shorts, jackets and jumpsuits in hues of mustard yellow, navy and green.

Oland is a Canadian West Coast native, currently based in Toronto, Ontario.

TOM* is the eighth men's fashion week in the world and is the most influential platform in Canada for menswear designers and brands.
