DSW hires Nordstrom exec Michele Love as EVP and Chief Operating Officer

DSW on Thursday announced the appointment of Michele Love as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, James Weinberg as GMM of Women’s Footwear, and Nancy Pastor as GMM of Accessories.

 
Love joins the company from Nordstrom where she spent 32 years of her career and most recently served as VP, Director of Rack Stores. In her most recent role, she spearheaded the expansion of Nordstrom Rack.
 
As EVP and COO, Love will oversee all aspects of consumer engagement and will be responsible for the retailer’s warehouse experience. She will assume her new role on May 1, 2017 and she will report directly to DSW CEO Roger Rawlins.

Weinberg, who joined DSW from Burlington in 2015, previously served as SVP, General Manager of DSW’s affiliate business group and SVP, Commercial Operations at DSW Inc., and Pastor previously served as Group Vice President for Jewelry, Handbags, and Dress Accessories at Macy’s.
 
The executives, each with 27 years experience in merchandising, will both report directly to DSW Vice Chairman and Chief Merchandising Officer Debbie Ferrée.
