As EVP and COO, Sheridan will lead the brand’s sales, e-commerce, digital, supply chain and IT teams. As the brand executes its strategic growth plan, Sheridan will also oversee the development of Brooks Running Company’s enterprise and digital platforms, develop its wholesale and e-commerce businesses, cultivate distributor partnerships across the world and build stronger connections with its target audience of running enthusiasts to fuel e-commerce.

Prior to his new role, Sheridan led global sales, e-commerce, business development and customer service as executive vice president, general manager of global sales.

The promotion follows a recent spike in performance for Brooks, with the company reporting a 26% year-over-year increase in global revenue for 2018.

“The growth we’re seeing is incredibly exciting because it indicates our brand is resonating with runners who are choosing our gear as they head out the door on their runs,” said Jim Weber, chief executive officer of Brooks Running Company, in a release. “As we continue to grow, [Sheridan's] experience leading teams, driving process and ensuring the runner stays at the center of all business decisions will be invaluable.”

Sheridan joined Brooks Running in 1998, and has served in various executive roles for the brand, including EVP, general manager of global sales; EVP, general manager of North America; SVP, general manager of North America and vice president of national account sales, among other leadership positions.
