Daniel Wingate at the helm of Escada and Escada Sport

Escada is trying to further differentiate its two lines Escada and Escada Sport. To achieve this, the German brand has promoted Daniel Wingate, design head for Escada, to Artistic Director for Escada and Escada Sport. By broadening his role, the brand hopes to gain independence for the Sport line, focusing on Wingates strengths in casual and sporty knit, jersey and denim wear.

Daniel Wingate will continue to report to Bettina Hammerl in addition to Susanna Schaeffer who is brand director at Escada Sport. Wingate has held positions at Hugo Boss, Strenesse and Marc O’Polo.
