David's Bridal names new chief partnership officer and head of partnership services
David's Bridal has announced the internal promotions of Nevin Shetty to the newly created role of chief partnership officer (CPO), and Lia Madonna to the role of head of partnership services.
Both Shetty and Madonna will lead the growth of the company's partnership department.
Shetty brings over 15 years of experience in finance, strategy and operations to his role, previously co-founding and serving as chief executive officer of Blueprint Registry, a digital registry targeted at millennials. Blueprint was acquired by David's Bridal in 2018, at which point Shetty began to serve as senior vice president of David’s Bridal.
Shetty currently serves on the board of directors for web design and development company Blueberry Technologies, and previously served on the board of directors for Splash.org.
As CPO, he will be responsible for identifying, diversifying and building partnership opportunities with industry leaders to drive strategic initiatives and support the partnerships growth plan, the company said. Shetty will also be focused on pinpointing partner categories. He will report to Kelly Cook, chief marketing officer.
"I look forward to joining the marketing team and expanding my role at David's Bridal," Shetty said. "I see endless opportunity to grow our existing partner base and to introduce new partners to the David's Bridal customer.”
Madonna has been a part of David's Bridal since 2008, serving on the company’s partnerships team and leading the department in prospecting, forecasting, and prioritizing partnership opportunities. In her new role, she will report to Shetty.
The promotions mark the latest updates to the company’s leadership team, following the appointment of Kelly Cook as its CMO in November of 2019 and the promotion of Callie Canfield to the newly created role of vice president, marketing and communications in December.
