David Yurman debuts first New Jersey store, reopens Denver location

Luxury jeweler David Yurman has announced the opening of its newest flagship in Short Hills, New Jersey, as well as the re-opening of its Denver store.

Marking the brand's first New Jersey store, the David Yurman boutique in The Mall at Short Hills sits in what Time Magazine previously named one of the wealthiest zip codes in America, and will cater to the community's high volume of New York City commuters.

Located on the mall's lower level, the 2,000-square-foot store includes a brand heritage wall, featuring a video display recounting the Yurman family's career history in art and jewelry, display pieces from some of the label's earliest collections, as well as sculptures and paintings made by brand founders David and Sybil Yurman. The Short Hills boutique will offer a range of items across the brand's product categories, including women's, men's and wedding jewelry.

The New Jersey boutique's black concrete storefront gives way to an interior featuring antique brass, concrete flooring and custom carpets, as well as artisan plaster paneling, walnut casework and white gold-leaf panels.

In addition, the location will also include a dedicated men's jewelry area and two private salons. The men's section is decorated for a masculine feel with textured charcoal plaster, blackened steel accents, live-edge walnut counters and leather flooring. The private salon spaces feature pearlescent white custom wallpaper, white gold-leafed panels and blue violet motifs, in homage to the New Jersey state flower.

Situated on the second floor of Cherry Creek Shopping Center, David Yurman's 1,660-square-foot Denver, Colorado store also reopened on November 2 after a temporary hiatus. The boutique will now offer its own men's jewelry area and private salon, as well as a selection of women's jewelry and wedding pieces.

Also featuring a black concrete exterior, the revamped Denver boutique houses a brand heritage wall similar to its New Jersey counterpart, complete with video display, original jewelry and artworks. The store's interior décor features artisan plasters, antique brass, walnut accents and white gold-leaf panels, as well as travertine, white oak floors and custom carpets.

Both stores are open to the public now.
