Dick’s Sporting Goods acquires Affinity Sports

Dick’s Sporting Goods over the weekend announced the acquisition of Affinity Sports, a San Diego-based sports management technology company.

 
Affinity Sports will provide key services to various youth sports National Governing Bodies and large-scale organizations under the Dick’s Team Sports HQ platform, which launched in January 2016. The retailer’s Team Sports HQ platform provides an all-in-one platform that offers youth sports leagues across the country online registration and team/league websites, custom uniforms and FanWear, and access to donations and sponsorships. Affinity’s software will facilitate and simplify the Team Sports HQ platform.
