Diesel Black Gold guest designer at Pitti Uomo

At the next edition of Italian menswear trade show Pitti Uomo, Diesel Black Gold will unveil its first menswear collection under the creative direction of new global artistic director for the brand, Andreas Melbostad. The label’s autumn-winter 2014/2015 collection will be presented during the tradeshow, which takes place in Florence between 7 and 10 January.

“The arrival of Andreas Melbostad as the creative director of Diesel Black Gold immediately gave the women’s collection a considerable boost”, says Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine. "We have admired Melbostad’s talent for many years,“ continues Napoleone, “and we are very curious to see what he will create for the Florentine scene, especially because the next edition of the fair, Pitti Uomo will focus on a 'musical' inspiration.”

Aside from extensive coverage in the fashion press, the label will also be the centre of attention of many menswear professionals who attend Pitti Uomo as it opens the menswear season.
