Dior to launch capsule collection with Denim Tears

Dior announced on Thursday the launch of a new capsule collection guest-designed with the brand Denim Tears.

The collection is set to be unveiled at an event at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, on Friday, ahead of Dior's pre-fall 2023 menswear show.
“This line celebrates the inventiveness of the house of Dior and the strength of its creative dialogues,” Dior said in a news statement.
Founded by the creative director of Supreme Tremaine Emory, the collection is expected to pay homage to Black artists like James Baldwin, Miles Davis and more.
Denim Tears is no stranger to collaborations. Most recently, in July, the brand linked up with Levis, to launch a collection that explores America’s harrowed history against racial injustice and persecution; all whilst creating an artistic framework of African American conceptual conceptualism.
The creative director has equally unveiled collections with the likes of Ugg, Converse, and Asics.
Likewise, Denim Tears is the latest brand invited by Dior Men’s artistic director Kim Jones to design a capsule for the brand. Not long ago, it collaborated with guest designer Eli Russell Linnetz of Californian-based brand ERL. Their capsule was presented back in May as part of the 2023 resort collection launch.
