Dooney & Bourke expand MLB collection

Dooney & Bourke on Monday launched new handbag styles for its Major League Baseball collection.

 
The accessories brand introduced leather and nylon handbags for the spring 2016 collection. The leather handbags are made with embossed Italian leather and feature dark brown leather trim, and gilded lettering and hardware. The nylon styles feature prints of team logos, leather trim and stitched handles that are inspired by baseball gloves. The styles are available in various bag styles including a field bag, satchel, hobo, crossbody, duffle and dover.
 
Every team has its own version of a nylon bag, but the leather bags are exclusive to the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.

Dooney & Bourke first partnered with the MLB on a handbag line in 2014. Just last year, the partnership expanded to include all 30 MLB teams.
