Dover Street Market has temporarily shuttered its boutiques in London, New York and LA, in the latest closure of destination boutiques due to concern over coronavirus.

“Although we hope to re-open on Saturday 28th March – provided it is safe to do so – in London," Dover Street Market said in a press release.

Moreover, the fashion forward chain said that its Dover Street Market stores in Ginza, Singapore and Beijing would all remain open. However, the Dover Street Parfums Market in the Marais district in Paris did indeed close earlier this week.

“Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the virus and we thank you for your understanding and support,” the retailer added.

The group stressed that its online business – DSML - was still open for business “and delivering all orders as usual.”

“We will be continuously monitoring the situation and look forward to welcoming you back into our store in the coming weeks,” added the release.

Dover Street Market was founded in 2004 by Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo and her partner Adrian Joffe.
