Von Maur-owned apparel retailer Dry Goods USA announced on Wednesday that it plans to open 19 new locations this year, as part of an accelerated nationwide growth plan which will see the chain expand into seven new states.
The ambitious expansion project, which will bring Dry Goods’ retail footprint up to 58 locations in 18 states, follows the successful openings of 12 stores in 2018.
This year’s new locations will introduce the brand to Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota and Tennessee.
“We are thrilled to see the continued success and growth of Dry Goods," said Von Maur President Jim von Maur in a release. "As our brand expands, we have the exciting opportunity to showcase our enticing assortment of merchandise and excellent customer service to new young shoppers across the country. We look forward to delivering an unmatched shopping experience at all of our new locations this year."
Dry Goods opened its first store in Aurora, Illinois in 2010 and has since expanded to Michigan, Ohio, North Dakota, Missouri and Iowa, among other US states.
The retailer, known for its selection of contemporary junior womenswear, also operates an e-commerce website.
