eCOM MTL announces 2017 line-up

The Québec Division of Retail Council of Canada and eCOM announced on Tuesday the programming for eCOM MTL 2017, an event dedicated to digital e-commerce technology.
 
The event, taking place in Montreal September 13 and 14, will bring together a line-up of speakers to inspire, teach and share their experiences with the digital economy.

Speakers from the beauty and fashion sector will specifically include Alexandre Gagnon, Vice-President of Amazon Canada & Mexico; Béatrice Dautzenberg, General Manager of L’Oreal Professionnel/Pureology Canada; Elizabeth Stefanka President and Founder of lingerie brand Stefenka; as well as Janell Shiplet, E-Commerce Director of Aritzia.
 
"The importance of delivering a content-rich program that allows businesses from different economic sectors to take full advantage of the digital economy, to understand its impact on our growth and financial wellbeing is not an option but a duty for us as we launch the 7th edition of eCOM MTL. A program of this magnitude allows us to cement our position as a leader in digital knowledge sharing", explained Stéphane Ricoul, President and founder of eCOM, in a news statement.

"This amazing conference allows our retailers to dive deep into the industry's digital transformation, discussing real challenges and opportunities facing retail and other sectors thus providing participants with the tools required to ensure their continued growth and ongoing success", added Ms. Brisebois from the Retail Council of Canada.
 
Les événements eCOM was founded in 2010 where they have since created events like eCOM MTL (Montreal), eCOM SBK (Sherbrooke), eCOM RIM (Rimouski), eCOM TRV (Trois-Rivières) and OFF eCOM, bringing together some 900 businesses from various industries.
 
Last year, Les événements eCOM and The Retail Council of Canada partnered together for the first time on the event.
