After launching a home decoration line, Lebanese luxury label Elie Saab is entering a new segment, childrenswear. On January 16, the opening day of the Pitti Bimbo show in Florence, Elie Saab will launch Elie Saab Junior, a childrenswear line whose apparel is developed by Italian specialist Simonetta (the childrenswear licensee of Balmain and Emilio Pucci among others), while footwear is produced by Andrea Montelpare.

“The launch of Elie Saab Junior enables us to reach a new milestone in the label’s development. Mirroring our brand identity, the new line will accompany younger children in their daily lives, with exquisitely manufactured clothes inspired by the label’s DNA and expertise,” said Elie Saab.

The first Elie Saab Junior collection for young girls and boys, for the Fall/Winter 2020-21, features dresses combining silk and lace, fitted trousers, shirts with straight collar, frilled shoulders and puff sleeves, as well as fur coats and casual t-shirts. The looks are completed by ballerinas, boots, booties, sneakers and sandals for girls, and a selection of slippers, brogues, sneakers and Chelsea boots for boys.

The collection will be available at select fashion stores and department stores worldwide.
