Emil Capital leads funding round with spa and beauty brand Milk + Honey

Greenwich, Connecticut-based entrepreneurial private investment company Emil Capital Partners has entered into a strategic investment with Texas-based spa and beauty brand, Milk + Honey.

According to a press statement, the investment will help the brand expand its presence in spas into new regions such as the greater Los Angeles area, while growing the Milk + Honey product line into additional direct-to-consumer and wholesale retail channels.

Founded in 2006, Milk + Honey offers a range of organic body, face and hair products for men and women, including facial cleansers and moisturizers, deodorant, body creams, lip butters and more. Currently, the brand’s products are available at select Neiman Marcus locations, in select specialty locations, and through the Milk + Honey e-commerce platform.

Additional investors included Keller Capital and entrepreneur, author and podcaster Tim Ferriss, whose past investments include Shopify and TaskRabbit, among others.
