Express appoints Antonio Lucio to board of directors

Columbus, Ohio-based fashion retailer Express Inc. named on Thursday Antonio J. Lucio as a Class III director, on its board of directors.

Lucio is a seasoned marketing executive with nearly four decades of experience in the consumer and technology industries. He is the founder & principal of 5S Diversity and an executive fellow at the Yale University School of Management. He was previously global chief marketing officer at Facebook, Inc, as well as held positions at companies such as HP, Visa, PepsiCo, Kraft/General Foods, and Proctor & Gamble.
Lucio has equally been recognized as one of the top five most Influential CMOs by Forbes and as a champion of diversity by a number of organizations.

This week, Express also reported Q3 net income of $13.1 million, or $0.19 per diluted share.
Launched in 1980, the company operates over 500 retail and factory outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as an online store.
