Express names Tan France as new lead stylist

Fashion apparel retailer Express, Inc. named on Wednesday Tan France as the new lead stylist of the Express styling community. 

France succeeds fashion authority, Rachel Zoe, who was the brand’s first lead stylist. Zoe is expected to continue to work with Express in a new capacity to be announced later this year.

In this new role, France will inspire Express style editors, store associates and the entire community to bring the brand’s purpose to life through brand activations and engagements. Likewise, he will lead the Express style editors and styling community through ongoing style mentorship, personal coaching and skill-building programs.

His fashion expertise will be shared in social content on his personal platforms, the brand’s owned channels and paid media. To continue to grow the program, France will also mentor style editors and encourage aspiring stylists to apply to the program at brand events throughout the year.

The style editor program Launched in July 2021 and offers fashion enthusiasts a way to style, inspire and earn commission on a special collection of seasonal assortments.

France has been a brand partner since 2019. Most recently, to support the brand’s ongoing partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the largest national youth mentoring organization, he led the ‘Dream Big, Dress Accordingly Styling Series’, available online.
