FYidoctors acquires trendy Canadian eyewear label BonLook

Montreal-based trendy eyewear brand BonLook has been acquired by Canadian healthcare organization FYidoctors. 

The acquisition is expected to boost the FYidoctors portfolio with new opportunities to expand the brand nationally and beyond. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. BonLook's leadership team will continue in their current roles, with the added benefit of FYidoctors' team at-large offering support as required.

Founded in 2011 by Sophie Boulanger and Louis-Félix Boulanger, BonLook has been a pioneer in the online sale of branded prescription eyewear in Canada. It currently boasts 36 stores across five Canadian provinces and is well recognized for its unique technology-driven approach in the field of optics, as well as for its stylish frames, quality lenses and accessible prices.

FYidoctors, which started in 2008, now has more than 300 stores. The addition of BonLook to its portfolio strengthens its positions in retail, manufacturing and optometry.
