Fabletics launches first mother-daughter capsule collection

As Mother's Day approaches, athleticwear brand Fabletics has launched its first ever mother-daughter activewear collection, complete with the brand's premiere girl's activewear pieces. 

The collection - conceptualized by Fabletics chief performance officer, Ginger Ressler, and inspired by her daughter, Gia - includes a range of athletic tanks, leggings and shorts for toddlers, girls and women. Consisting of three full outfits, capsule pieces feature patterns like pink leopard-print and multi-colored florals, as well as bright color blocking, with children's sizes ranging from 2T to XL and women's sizes ranging from XXS to 4X. 

Consumers can buy pieces from the capsule individually or choose from three four-piece mother-daughter bundles, each priced at $89.95 for Fabletics VIP members.

"Since the beginning, I wanted to design a coordinated collection for Fabletics, and I love how much joy this collection sparks, which is more important now than ever," Ressler said.

"The capsule conveys values I'm committed to passing down to Gia. I want her to follow her dreams, while making the world a better place."

Like the brand's most recent collaboration with pop star Demi Lovato, Fabletics' mother-daughter capsule features a charitable aspect in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The brand said that 100% of net profits from the new children's clothing will be contributed to the Covid-19 program of Blessings in Backpacks, a non-profit that provides food to elementary school children in need across America. The brand said that a minimum donation of $25,000 will go to the non-profit from April 27 to May 31.

Earlier this month, the subscription-based athleticwear brand launched another first with the debut of its first men's line, headlined by comedian, Kevin Hart.
