Farfetch's There Was One in womenswear collab with Lisa Folawiyo
Farfetch has announced the latest high-profile launch for its There Was One brand. It’s a collab with Lisa Folawiyo with an exclusive capsule collection available only via the luxury fashion e-tailer.
There Was One is the brand jointly created by Farfetch and its New Guards Group. And it’s collaborating with Folawiyo for the very first time on a womenswear offer that consists of eight pieces inspired by her classic items and silhouettes.
Priced from £95 to £390, it launched on Wednesday.
The focus is on summer styles summer designs with a playful mix of signature Ankara fabric and custom prints.
The company said that one of the standout features is the custom ‘hearts intertwined’ print that originated from her SS17 collection and celebrated the unique bond between two individuals. The print has been reimagined and incorporated into the capsule collection, “adding a touch of romanticism to the designs”.
Farfetch has been putting major backing behind the There was One operation this year and in March it unveiled two major developments with its entry into both kidswear and activewear for the first time, the latter focusing on cycling pieces.
