Brazil's Farm Rio is returning to Los Angeles with the opening of a standalone store at the city's Venice Beach on Saturday.

Spanning 1,900 square feet, the South American fashion brand has opened its latest global store along Venice Beach's Abbot Kinney Boulevard, taking its U.S. store count to three.

The brand, known for its tropical print puffers, resort dresses and swimwear, selected Venice Beach for its close proximity to the beach, which compliments the label's island getaway styling, seen in the Los Angeles store's coastal design with its thatched exterior much like a holiday cabin; having teamed up with Brazilian architect Marcelo Rosenbaum to recreate its homeland's tropical landscape.

Inside, shoppers will find the brand's range of colorful, tropical-inspired apparel, as well as a variety of Brazilian-made jewelry and accessories. Typically, Farm Rio's offering of dresses, tops and jumpsuits fall into the accessible price range category, with t-shirts priced at $35 and dresses at $265.

"Venice Beach, we're back! Visit our store at 1326 Abbot Kinney, and get ready to live the best summer ever," announced the brand on its Instagram page.

Farm Rio, which started as a small stand in a fashion market in Rio de Janeiro in 1997, first popped up in Los Angeles in 2021, with locations on Abbot Kinney Blvd and The Grove shopping mall.

The brand opened its first-ever retail outpost outside of Brazil, in New York, in April 2019, followed by a Miami store in December of the same year. Most recently, Farm Rio inked a physical distribution deal with luxury department store Neiman Marcus, after establishing online distribution partnerships with U.S. retailers such as Shopbop and Anthropologie. Likewise, it launched its U.S. e-commerce website in March last year.

Currently, Farm Rio operates over 80 stores in its home country.
