Fawaz Gruosi exits eponymous jewellery brand "with immediate effect"

Creative Luxury Holding said on Tuesday that Fawaz Gruosi, the celebrity Lebanese fine jeweller, has exited his eponymous jewellery label.

In a statement attributed to a brand spokesperson, the company said that “after three years working with Creative Luxury Holding (CLH), we can confirm that Fawaz Gruosi leaves his position as Creative Consultant to the jewellery brand that bears his name with immediate effect”. 

It continued: “Over the past three years CLH invested heavily in the Fawaz Gruosi Genève brand whilst building a team of designers and craftsmen that have created an exquisite collection of jewellery and timepieces, bearing the Fawaz Gruosi name.” 

It didn’t give many details about the reason for his departure, but did say that “CLH and Mr Gruosi had committed to a clear long-term commercial strategy for the business, however recent decisions by Mr Gruosi have made the partnership untenable and therefore he leaves immediately”.

No other information was available.

One of the most influential jewellers in the luxury industry, the Gruosi brand launched early last year. It also opened a flagship boutique in the West End of London.

It came over a year after he left his role of creative director of de Grisogono, the high-profile luxury jewellery brand that he had founded.
