Ferragamo opens concept store in SoHo
Salvatore Ferragamo is set to open on Friday a concept store in SoHo designed to offer a new retail experience and creative hub.
The 2,700-square-foot space celebrates New York’s thriving downtown community with exclusive inventory and immersive technologie.
Opening at 63 Greene Street, the store introduces the Hologram Sneaker customization tool and an immersive NFT booth allowing customers to create their own digital artwork.
In particular, the Hologram Sneaker customization tool will allow Ferragamo’s clientele to design their own 6R3ENE sneaker by projecting a holographic version of their work in progress on a six-foot-tall wall.
Likewise, the immersive NFT booth will allow visitors to choose from a selection of backdrops to mint their unique artwork - limited to 256 individual NFTs - on the Ethereum Blockchain via OpenSea.
The backdrops were exclusively designed by Shxpir, which also inspired a new t-shirt and sweatshirt collaboration. The limited-edition line includes 250tT-shirts, priced at $350, and 150 sweatshirts priced at $650 launching during Pride Month and available in-store.
All proceeds will be donated to The Center, one of the oldest and leading LGBTQ+ organizations in New York City.
