Oct 31, 2017
This year, Torrid’s third annual model search made its way to Canada for the first time and Toronto’s Haley Rudolph made the final cut.
The model search, launched online in May, made stops in four major U.S. markets this summer including Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, and Atlanta, and stopped in Canada for the first time, with a live casting in Toronto, Ontario, on July 29.
Haley, 24, is a Financial Analyst from Georgetown, Ontario, currently living in Toronto and was selected as one of the top four finalists. Over 15,000 girls applied for the model search.
Ten finalists were selected by a curated panel of judges including influencer anf Project Runway winner Ashley Nell Tipton, celebrity makeup artist Priscilla Ono, and supermodel Candice Huffine. The top four finalists were then selected and a final winner will be decided via social and online voting, which ended on Sunday.
The winner will receive the title, “Face of Torrid 2018,” complete with a Torrid modeling contract and wardrobe. The winner will host Torrid store openings and events as a brand ambassador, star in seasonal fashion campaigns, and appear on the brand’s social media channels throughout the year.
The winner will be announced in January 2018.
Haley is in the running along with Julia Rose Miller from Round Rock, Texas; Seairra Thompson from Berkeley, California; and Sophia Ervin from Dallas, Texas.
