First Première Vision Pluriel edition with six shows and one organizer

After the acquisition of Zoom by Fatex one year ago, followed by Cuir à Paris last February, all Première Vision Pluriel fairs are now owned by Première Vision SA. The sole organizer is promising a fair with unprecedented coordination and coherence.

The fair at Villepinte will bring together nearly 1950 exhibitors, on par with the show's September 2013 level. More than 130 new companies have signed up for the current Pluriel edition. "The high level of exhibitor loyalty is a sign of the strength and consistency of the six events," says the organizer.

For this fall edition, two over-arching leitmotifs form what the show has dubbed "Pluriel Experts Trails," themes that appear throughout the event's various fairs. Neckwear puts the spotlight on the neck and neckline, showcasing scarves, ties, detachable collars, chokers, necklaces and other trinkets, with products ranging from knits to neck chains.

The second theme Assembling focuses on, as its names suggest, assembling materials, be they bonded, needle-punched or quilted.

For this edition, the textile fair Première Vision is welcoming 44 new companies. These include 26 mills, mostly from Italy, and 19 knitters specializing in flat bed knits and exhibiting in the special Knitwear Solutions knits section. In the final tally, 32 countries will be represented at Première Vision, 73 percent hailing from Europe. The Italians constitute the majority at 51 percent, 12 percent are French companies, 10 percent from Turkey and 14 percent from Asia.

The yarn and fiber show Expofil is hosting 51 exhibitors for three days, compared to 49 last year. Indigo will bring together more than 221 companies specializing in creative textile design, an increase of 9 percent. The Indigo show offers a deep selection mostly from European companies and a strong contingent from Great Britain.

Like Indigo and Expofil, Zoom by Fatex will now be held as part of Première Vision for the first time, occupying the back of Hall 6.

For this edition, the fashion sourcing show with companies from the Euro-Mediterranean and Indian Ocean regions is dressing up for the occasion with a new more modern and bright set design. Thirteen new exhibitors have joined the show that features 134 companies, mostly from Morocco (22%), Tunisia (14%), Romania (13%) and Mauritius (11%).
 
Modamont will again be held in Hall 4, grouping together 320 companies from 26 countries. The accessories and components fair for fashion and design is mostly populated by Italian companies (49%), but also a number of French (17%), Spanish (7%) and German (7%) businesses.

Some 17 new companies will be exhibiting at Modamont. The organizers point out that the show has increased its range in accessories and components for footwear and leather goods.
 
Cuir à Paris, the leather and fur fair, has recruited 432 exhibitors for this edition, located in hall 3. With companies from 23 countries, this fair is also mostly Italian (54%), with French and Spanish companies each accounting for 15.5% and 9.5% of the exhibitors.
