The new store offers customers a range of dermatologist and aesthetician-approved personal care products from over 70 brands, including One Love Organics, Babo Botanicals, Amala, Ursa Major, Ere Perez and Herbivore Botanicals. In addition to browsing, customers have the option to schedule one-on-one skin consultation and makeup application appointments to test items in-store.

The 350-square-foot flagship's interior design features oversized windows, custom-made apothecary cabinets in Follain’s signature green, brushed brass and glass shelving, and an 1880s basin sink from J.L. Mott Ironworks in the Bronx.

Previous to this new shop, the retailer tested its performance in New York City with two pop-up shops, which ran during the holiday seasons of 2016 and 2017. The company's newest flagship joins fellow Follain outposts in Dallas,Texas; Seattle, Washington; Boston, Massachusetts; Nantucket and Bethesda, Maryland.

Founded by Tara Foley in 2013, Follain boutiques seek to cater to shoppers who are eager to transition to a non-toxic personal care routine. Visitors to the retailer can choose from a range of "clean" skin, hair and beauty products that have been tested against the company's growing list of restricted ingredients from skin drying agents to carcinogens.
