Forever 21 launches nostalgic Coca-Cola collection

LA-based fashion retailer Forever 21 announced on Friday that it has released an exclusive collaboration with the popular soft drink manufacturer Coca-Cola, featuring retro brand iconography.
The collection, which aims to channel a “throwback” summer feel, features pieces for both men and women in classic Coca-Cola red and white. Women’s pieces include t-shirts, crop-tops and bikini tops and bottoms, while the men’s offering consists of logo t-shirts and checkered logo shorts and jackets.
The collection also features accessories including socks, fanny packs and six-panel baseball caps.
“Coca-Cola is such a loved brand that represents great taste and authenticity,” stated Linda Chang, VP of merchandising at Forever 21, in a release. “We are very excited to bring our customers a unique and fresh way to celebrate Coca-Cola this summer.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Forever 21 to bring this collection to life,” added Becky Anderson, Coca-Cola senior licensing manager for North America. “The designs capture the optimism and sheer joy that surround summer, so this is the perfect match for Coca-Cola.”
The collection is not the first fashion outing for the soda company, which has licensed its branding to both apparel and beauty companies over the years, including Italian fast fashion label Terranova and Korean cosmetics manufacturer and retailer The Face Shop.
The Forever 21 x Coca-Cola collection is available now in Forever 21 stores across North America and on the brand’s e-commerce website. Prices range from $12.90 to $42.90.
